Take-home by job

National median wage, the middle state’s take-home at that job’s state median, and where it is highest and lowest. Highest and lowest only count states where BLS estimates at least 1,000 people in the job with an employment error of 25% or less, so tiny, noisy samples don’t top the list. Jobs with fewer than 10 such states are left out of this table but kept in the CSV.
